Randy shields his eyes as the sun's rays swim over them, slams his fist on his alarm, and groans. Steadily blinking as he gets up, he begins to ponder. "What a strange dream", he thought to himself. "I was named...$playername, and what the hell was I wearing? A $shirtcolor-colored shirt and $pantcolor pants? All I did was pick those clothes out, like a video game." Randy's stomach rumbled. "Time for breakfast!" he thought.

(link:"Turn on the TV")[Randy picked up a remote and switched the TV on. On the screen was a reporter. "...a small meteorite struck the coast of Orange County this morning. No injuries have been reported, but residents of the area are being advised to stay away from the landing site."
"Huh", Randy thought, as he looked away from the TV, "That's not too far". (set: $watchedtv to true)]Randy stepped into the kitchen, and instantly made his way over to the coffee machine. After making his favorite coffee with cream and sugar, his stomach rumbles again. "Just gonna have cereal this morning", he thought. "Anything else and I'll end up late for work." He opens the cabinet and sees two brands.

[[Go to work!->Going To Work]]Randy rushed into his car, turned the key, and drove off to work. On the way, he encountered a traffic jam. It seemed like the road was facing some traffic, with a ramp and some workers up ahead. The sound of dozens of cars honking and blaring pierced his eardrums. He sighed, and said to himself, "Well, guess we're gonna be stuck here for a while. I guess I can finally listen to my podcast about mulch. It's fascinating!"
[[Wait until the traffic subsides.->Late To Work]]
[[Whisper to Randy to drive over the traffic using the construction ramp.->Early to Work]]Randy began to anxiously tap his foot against the floor of the car. Suddenly, his ears perked up. "Use...the ramp? To get past this traffic? First off, that's crazy. Second, where the hell did that voice come from?"
While asking himself these questions, Randy's hands began to turn the steering wheel, and his foot suddenly slammed down on the pedal. Screaming and holding onto the wheel for dear life, Randy charged the car towards the construction ramp. His screams grew even louder as the car flew through the air, and kept going as the car hit the street ahead of the traffic with a massive thud. Randy didn't stop screaming for the entire trip to the office, in fact.
With andrenaline still rushing through his body, Randy rushed up to the door. "Phew, that was...something," he thought as he entered. "But hey, I beat Quentin here today!"

Randy began to walk upstairs towards his floor.

Randy sighed. "Yeah, I know, Quentin. There was a traffic jam an-" but Quentin was already back on the phone. Sighing once again, Randy shuffled upstairs towards his floor.

Suddenly, their voices died down, and one of them peeked into Randy's cubicle. "Hey Randy, buddy, aren't you gonna take a lunch break?"

[[Continue working even more!->Keep Working More]]Randy poured out some black coffee into his mug and took a sip. Suddenly, a hand clasped on his shoulder. After taking one final sip of his coffee, he returned to his desk.

Silence remained for a while, and then Marcos finally said, "Okay...sure. I'll tell Sarah if she asks where you are. Don't worry, buddy, it's gonna be okay, alright?"
[[Off to the doctors!->Off To The Doctors]]]
Randy poured some creamer into his coffee, stirred in some sugar, and laid back against the counter as he listened to his co-workers. "And so we were just laughing, and then we heard a sound, and next thing you know, we're being told to leave. Can you believe it?" Martha was saying. The other co-workers were shaking their heads, while Randy gave a simple "hm." After seemingly taking a moment to ponder the utterly fascinating story, a hand clasped on Randy's shoulder. "Time to get back to the grind, then!" said the hand's owner. Randy smiled. "I guess it sure is, Marcos." After taking one final sip of his coffee, he returned to his desk.

Sarah frowns, then sighs. "You were early today to work and you're working all day, no breaks or nothing. Even the worst employees on the bottom floor on the verge of getting fired take breaks. Are you trying to impress me or something?"

Sarah nods, then exhales. "Okay," she starts. "What I want you to do is take a trip over to the doctor, alright?"

Randy gripped his steering wheel tightly, and sighed. (if:$yelled is true)["Gosh, I really just yelled at all my co-workers!" he said. "I sure do hope Dr. Henry can fix me up. This is becoming a really long day."]
On the way to the doctor's, Randy saw even more traffic than earlier. Suddenly, large shadows passed overhead. Randy looked up to see several helicopters flying towards the residential part of the town.
At the doctor's office, the receptionist told Randy it would be about a half hour's wait, and asked him to write down the reason for his visit. After thinking for a good minute or two, Randy finally wrote down "feeling out of control". He sits down and begins to wait.
[[Just sit and wait half an hour, Randy.->Waited for the Doctor]]
[[I want to meet this "Doctor Henry" NOW, Randy.->See the Doctor Now]]Half an hour later, a door opened, and Dr. Henry's voice came out. "Randy?" he asked. Randy got up and started to follow him. When they stepped into a room, Randy sat on the chair.
"Alright, so you told the receptionist that you're 'feeling out of control', is that correct?" Dr. Henry stated, to which Randy nodded. "Well, tell me what exactly you mean," Dr. Henry continued.
Randy sighed, then poured out a stream of words. "I-I've just felt like uh...like t-there's this //voice// that's been telling me what to do all day. It's getting seriously out of hand. I just want things to return to normal, y'know?"
Dr. Henry frowned. "A voice?"
Randy fumbled his hands, then spoke again. "Well, okay, not like a voice screaming at me for what to do, but just like...a guiding hand, if that makes sense?"
Dr. Henry eyed Randy for an uncomfortably long time. Finally, he asked, "By any chance, do you happen to live anywhere near Coastal Drive?"
Randy, taken aback, stuttered, "Uh-uh, yeah, I live there. I don't see how this has to do anything wit-"
Dr. Henry put a finger to his lips, then said, "Okay. Wait here, I need to make a call."
[[Wait for Dr. Henry again, I guess.->Waiting Again]]
[[Randy, you're not going to give me up, are you?->Run Away]]Randy gets up from his seat and heads for the door in the back of the room. The receptionist looks up and says, "Sir? Sir! It's not time for your appointment yet!"

[[Fine, wait some more before going in.->Doctor's Office Reception]]
[[No, Randy, we can't wait!->Refuse to Wait]]Randy tensely waits for Dr. Henry to return, tapping his feet against the floor. Suddenly, Randy hears loud whirring above the doctor's office, and the shouting of orders.
[[RANDY! They're here for me, get us out of here!->Attempt to Run]]
[[Keep waiting, and see how this plays out.->See How It Plays Out]]
Randy shuffled around in the chair. You scream at him to run away, louder and louder, until finally, he twitches his legs. Slowly but surely, he stands up, then begins to sprint out of the room and down the hall.
"Stop him!" you hear Dr. Henry say. "Call security, we need to get that damn thing out of hi-" but it's too late, you're through the reception area, almost at the front door, almost free, almost able to see what else this planet has to offer. Finally, you push the door open, and bask in the sunlight.
It's your decision now, and yours alone:
[[I'll want Randy to take the backseat now.->Randy Trapped]]
[[I want to say goodbye to Randy, forever.->Kill Randy]]You sit down in what was Randy's car, and place your hands on the steering wheel, breathe a sigh of relief, and smile. Finally, the world is all yours to explore! As you put your foot against the pedal, you hear a voice.
//"What have you done to me? Who are you? And...what are you going to do with me, with m-my body?"//
Your smile shifts to a smirk, and you decide to tell him. "First off, you basically handed yourself off to me, so don't be shocked. Second, the name's $playername. And third, it's time for a change of wardrobe, first thing. I'm thinking a $shirtcolor shirt and $pantcolor pants. Your smile fades. Right, he's still here. "It doesn't matter," you say. "Goodbye, Randy."
His screaming voice fades into the distance, becoming fainter and fainter, before it finally becomes silent.Randy shuffles his feet. You scream at him to run away, louder and louder, until finally, he twitches his legs. Slowly but surely, he stands up, then begins to sprint out of the room and down the hall.
"Stop him!" you hear Dr. Henry say. Then, you hear the sounds of guns being drawn. Randy freezes, despite all your screaming at him to just keep moving. Then it dawns on you, there is nothing you can do but just surrender.
[[Tell Randy to just surrender.->See How It Plays Out]]Two men run up to Randy and keep their guns pointed at him. Then suddenly, a cold metal rod hits Randy in the back of the head, and it charges with electricity. Randy screams, and so do you. It's pure agony. The man holding the rod looks down at you, and says, "It's something you won't have to worry about anymore."
The last thing you see is the bottom of the man's boot as it slams down on you."Uh...yeah, sorry. My bad!" says Randy. "Just...having a weird day is all, kind of impatient to meet Dr. Henry."
The receptionist sighs. "Well, you're gonna have to wait just like everybody else," she says, to which Randy nods.
[[Screw this, Randy, we're going in anyways!->Refuse to Wait]]
[[Okay, we'll comply.->Waiting Again]]Randy charges at the door. The receptionist screams, then yells, "Alright, that's it, I'm calling security!" Footsteps come from down the hall, and while you expect to see someone dressed in a guard outfit, it's a man in a white coat instead. Dr. Henry, you presume.
Dr. Henry says, "It's alright, I got it from here. I called the authorities." Sure enough, you hear a loud whirring above you, and the shouting of orders.
[[RANDY! They're here for me, get us out of here!->Attempt to Run]]
[[I guess it's the end of the line, Randy. Just surrender.->See How It Plays Out]]Randy sat back in his seat, and exhaled. "Today started off a little weird," he thought, "But I'm feeling like I'm getting back on track now."
A few hours later, he checked the time. 5:00, work's over.
[[Randy goes home.->Go Home]]Randy pulled into his driveway and started to whistle as he headed for the door. "What a day!" he said to himself. "Got a lot of work done at least, so that's nice. I'm exhausted."
But when Randy opened the front door, he was greeted by caution tape, a strange blue mist, and a man in a hazmat suit.
"Oh!" yelped the man in the suit. "Sorry, lost track of time. Er...don't go inside, please, sir."
Randy was justifiably confused. "What's going on here?" he asked.
The man put his hand up and said, "Hold on, let me just get outside first." Once outside, he took off his face covering and continued, "Sorry sir, your home was in the viscinity of a meteorite crash. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to find a hotel, or some other place to stay today. Don't worry, I'm sure you can get compensation from someone higher up than me.
