That night... You and three of your closest friends were bar hopping through a quite and vacant town, trying to drink away the truth. At the time, you were going through a rough time and all three were trying to help you out, most of all, [[Erik]].
"Come on Kenneth," [[Chase]] groaned from behind you and Erik,"When are you going to move on from her? It's been months since the accident and nothing else can be done. I know you cared for her but you can't do anything but move on with your life."
"Cut the soldier boy some slack Chase," [[Brian]] remarked before downing another shot,"Kenneth was barely able to survive himself while Luna was torn to shreds. You would be the same if this were to happen to Cindy."
"Shut up Brian!", Chase scowls as Brian lets off a soft chuckle while you and Erik drank your fill.
"I think its about time we get going, what do you say guys?", Erik said while holding up a half finished shot with his face as red as an [[apple|Deal]].
As you awoke, you noticed your friends passed out beside you.
looking around, you notice the unfamiliar environment that you've been placed in, instilling fear for what's to come.
In your confused haze, you look around warily and notice the building you're in appears to be a mansion, an abandoned one at that. The entrance alone was filled with cobwebs while everything looked as though it would disintegrate at a mere touch.

As your friends came to their senses, they too were confused and questioned their current mental state, yet came to the inevitable truth of what had occured.
"What the hell is this!" said Brian as his eyes rapidly looked around his current surroundings.

[ With this said, you all decided it would be most wise to remain together, unsure of the possible dangers ahead.
[[You all decide upon going down the east wing corridor|Peculiar Shrine]] ]
You find yourself standing in the entrance to what seems to be a mansion of sorts. You have two corridors leading in opposite directions on the ground floor with two grand staircases leading to similar looking corridors on the second floor
Ahead you see a set of doors opening into an empty pavillion. you should wait for the others if you're going in there
Behind you is a [[door|Door]] bound in oddly designed chains, you should try to find another exit
(if: $LostLoop is true)[You feel uncomfortable staring at the west corridor]\
You try with all your might, but the chains wouldn't move an inch. Upon closer inspection, you notice an interchanging rythmic pattern on the chains that leads to the padlock. It feels as though the more you try to break the chains, the stronger they become.
It looks as though your friends are starting to awaken, what do you want to do?

As you walk through the west corridor, you notice that all the windows have been boarded up, covered by whatever mysterious patterns that was on the chains
The corridor seems to go forever, you have passed by many rooms, most of which were completely pitch black or were left to rot and decay.
Almost immediately, you hear a woman cries echoing through the halls, in one of the rooms up ahead. Should you turn back now or run and help?

You entered the [[first room|Ominous Altar]] you could open without hesitation, unaware of what you walked into.
The further you walked down the hallway, the more uneasy you felt. Simple elements like the wind or the creaking floorboards were enough to send you into shock.

The husk went down in two shots, shattering upon contact. As you shot the husk, the once silent manor now screamed its terrors. Brian collapsed to the floor, you run to his aid as you try to escape but realise that he's already dead.
Theres little time to think, you hear [[footsteps thundering down the halls|Silent Death - Die (Loop)]].
The room was pitch black with a glowing alter in the center of the room
You slipped on the floor, as you got up you noticed your hands were stained with blood as the altar shone even brighter. The door closed behind you, until the door dissappeared altogether.
Who knows how long you and Erik were in the room. You tried to tend to Erik's wounds the best you could, yet you knew it would be to late.
As Erik's last breath had come to pass, his body dissolved into a puddle of blood, making the altar shine brighter.
At this point, it was only you and the altar. Your body and mind felt weaker with every passing second. Eventually, you lost all feeling to your body as you collapsed to the ground and saw a door [[reappear|Entity Appears - Die (Loop)]].
You and Erik manage to find your way back to the manor's entrance. The ground has become more torn and it doesn't look like it will support both of you.
As if the entity could feel your presence, the sounds of crying and screeching became louder the longer they stood there.
You both need to hurry, you're running out of time.
[[Distract the monsters|Distraction Route]]

With little options to pick from, you threw the vial at the creatures feet. As the glass broke, giant white branches erupted from the vial's solution, weaving out until the room was filled with branches.
The monsters were restrained but it wouldn't hold them for long. the branches were just wide enough for you to slip through, allowing you to backtrack to the entrance.
Erik stood by the open door. "Hurry up! the floor won't hold out much longer," said Erik as the ground began shaking
With some difficulty, I reached the entrance just in time to see the doors to the pavillion snap like twigs from the monsters, but it was too late, me and Erik escaped the nightmare.
Its finally over...
You tried to loop back to the entrance, but you collapsed over, looking back you saw your leg was sliced off, the monsters approach.
You try to crawl towards the exit but it was already in vain. The monsters were behind you and Erik could do nothing but watch as your body is wrapped in insects, slowly devouring you from the inside out until nothing could be said, nothing could be heard. You believe that the two of you could manage to reach the door in time.
As you get closer and closer to the door, you look back and see the monsters rapidly approach. They knew as well as I that the floor wouldn't last long, and its already falling apart with two of us here...we won't be able to escape
Those were your final thoughts as the ground gave way with you and Erik fell into the abyss, never to be seen again.
A fitting end for a damned man.
You chose to abandon everyone and everything for the sake of surviving your tormented hell. Using the strange object, the chains markings faded, allowing you to shoot the chains.
This attracted the monsters, but it was to late, you've already left the manor, returning you to that empty street down the bar.
The man was gone, your friends laid upon the ground, dead.
There was nothing you could do for them, you were saving yourself is what you told yourself and your physchiatrist for years to come.
"There was nothing that could be done, it wasn't my fault"
In the end, you escaped the manor, but your hell has just begun...
You abandoned your friend to the creature as it slowly devoured him, you could hear his screams echo through the empty halls as you tried to cover your ears and keep running as you've left Brian for dead.
You return to the entrance with Chase and Erik nowhere to be seen. Before you reach out to the door, you hear their screams coming from the pavillion as you notice the open door, revealing a monster wrapping them in a strange substance.

You soon hear your friends screams from the hole which pass just as fast as they had come.
You did not understand why this was happening, only that you were spared from this massacre, only to hear a whisper behind you
"I see that you've found the stone, yes indeed. You are quite lucky to have come across such a rare item, not even my pets could harm you so long as that stone remained in your possession, a tricky loop to overcome, but I must commend you."
The withered man spoke for many long hours, telling you things that would drive any man to madness, but by the end of it all, he provided you with a proposition, to take his place so that you may live.
Not a bad deal, given the circumstances, eh Kenneth?

Over time, you and him have built a good relationship with a strong mutual respect for one another; however, when it comes to insects or dead bodies, Brian becomes the most useless person in the [[room|Introduction]].After paying your bills, you all left the bar. You all had drank more than you all should've as you began wandering the dark and lonely streets. With what felt like walking through a neverending labrinth, you would come across an oddly dressed man sitting on the corner of the street. He looked up and with a crackling voice said,"Won't you come over here for a bit? This street is often empty, leaving me with very few to talk too, even less so customers to buy my wares." You all were confused by this old man, yet you decided to approach him, whether it was out of curiosity or something else, I'm not sure; but as you got closer to him, your fate would be sealed.
You would approach the withered man and say,"What is it you do here? All I see is a rickety table with a set of cards." To this, the man said,"I do so much more than you could possibly imagine with these cards, young man. You see, I have a way of making the wishes held within a persons hearts become a reality. For the right price, whatever weight that seems to be holding you down will become no more".
"Kenneth, I think we should move along, something doesn't feel right," Erik said as he eyed the old man.
"For once, I agree with you, we should really leave before something happens," Chase said as you saw his hands tremble.
Ignoring your friends wishes, you found yourself intrigued if not doubtful of this, so you told him what it was you wanted more than anything, to which he said,"It shall be yours; and with that, the contract has been sealed. However, I will have you hold up your end of the bargain first. As I said before, hardly anyone visits these streets anymore and it can be quite lonely, if you would be so kind as to provide me with a bit of entertainment, I will happily grant your wish."
After that, everything began to fade into darkness.
Can you escape this eternal hell? Do your best to provide me some entertainment. Its not everyday my seeker finds such interesting [[prey|Awoken]]. You decide to keep pushing on the door. There was no place to hide or avoid the monster in these barren halls, you knew that it would inevitably catch up, and it did too.

However, You had been out drinking far more than you should have. As you stumbled into your house, you realized that Luna was nowhere to be found. You went into a drunken rage, destroying anything you could get your hands on, until you heard a door creak open.
There she was, alive and well, but that mattered little to you at the time. You yelled at her for hours and hours until your throat became hoarse and your eyes bloodshot.
This was the relationship that you have fostered over time. It wasn't always like this; then again, that battlefield had taken plenty enough, its only fair that your head isn't in the right place.
However, on this particular night, something in you snapped, you weren't sure what, but you had begun losing your grip on humanity.
Without warning, you thrusted your family blade at Luna's neck. Luna blocked the blade, which bit into her bare forearm. The shock of recognition interrupted her pain: You wielded your knife with a maddening expression. She cried out to make you stop, but you slashed her arm again.
She rushed off and slid on the blood-smeared floor. Using the door frame as support, she raised herself up. The knife ripped through the wall, cleaving her other arm. She screamed in pain as she limped into the hallway, only to be met by your blade.
She stepped back, trembling, as she held together the soft loose flesh of her abdomen. Images of her mother's tangled limbs flashed before her eyes.
Rin charged you, causing you to stumble back. you punched her torn abdomen and she recoiled in pain. As she struggled to get back up, you pulled out your gun and shot her thigh, making her collapse on the floor.
As she crawled towards the stairs, you grabbed her hair and yanked her against a partition. The glass shattered on impact and she fell through, landing one floor down.
By the time you'd reached her, she was already gone. Something had died within you that night, and with it, a monster was born.
This is what YOU know, but oftentimes, there's two sides to every story, let me tell you what [[suffering you've put her through.|Luna]]
After falling through the floor, she heard footsteps somewhere above her. With effort, she moved, worming her way into a sea of broken glass. The shards gnawed at her, ripping her flesh. She thought to herself that you had to be stopped and you would not get away with what you'd done to her.
Coughing up blood, her chin grazed the glass, adding to the bleeding. A low-pitched heartbeat started to ring in her ears. Her body felt so heavy she could no longer move.
She felt the ground shake as you got closer to her. She knew she was not going to make it, but she no longer cared. She would have you pay, in this life or the next.
A dark Fog slowly veiled her eyes, but it could not subdue her rage. She would not rest--not yet. The darkness whispered, promising blood and revenge.
An oath was made and Luna closed her eyes.
And so, a [[corrupted soul|Choice]] was bornWithout warning, you snap back into reality as your deceased wife approaches you.
"Luna?", you said hesitantly,"Do you remember me, Luna? It's me, Kenneth."
"Oh, I remember you all right," she snarls as her claws scrape across the ground,"you were the one that put me in this eternal hell, how could I forget?"
"I'm sorry for what I've done, I treated you terribly, my hands are stained in blood. Let me make this right."
"How do you intend to do this? Ever since I found my way here, it's been kill or be killed, your mortal mind may not comprehend the number of lifetimes you and I have remained here, but you have killed me every time. Why should this be any different, why shouldn't I rip your heart out?", she says maniacally.
"With these, escape may yet be in reach," you say.

With Luna having dropped her guard after imagining the grandeur of escape, you plunged the blade into her throat.
Her screams were short lived as you wrenched the knife out and proceeded to strike her arms, slowly cutting away until with a loud squelch, her arms fall to the ground.
"How could you!", Luna screamed in anger and fear,"I should've killed you when I had the chance you bastard, you will never walk free! What little hope of escape is gone. I had thought you had broken from their grasp, but you will forever be under their control without even reralizing it, YOU MONST-"
Without a word, you cut off her head, causing blood to spout from the base of her neck, letting down on onpour of blood as you stand silently, bathing in her blood.

You truly are a monster, a true Damned soul. I can't wait to see what more entertainment you will give me.
You hesitantly pull out the key and strange object, leaving Luna in utter confusion.
"Is this a joke? Those won't grant me freedom!", Luna roars.

"Everything that's happened so far has all been my fault, it's time for me to atone.", you say as you walk towards the door.
Without a second word, you use the key to open the door and hand Luna the stone and object
"I wish you well, Luna. For what its worth, I'm sorry.", you say as the doors begin to close behind her, leaving you in the darkness...forever.You proceed to pull out the strange object and the stone. Luna's eyes narrowed in confusion.
"And just what do you intend to do with these? You must know the significance of that object. By using that, Your damning your so called friends to an eternal hell...but, why bring the stone. It's served its purpose."
"Not yet it hasn't," you tell her,"It's taken me a long time to figure out, but this stone...it's what good remains within you isn't it?"
To this, she begrudgingly nods
"Are you sure you wish to do this?", she asks,"There will only be one chance."
She's right, is this what you truly wish for?

You slowly walk towards the door, stone and object in hand.
The closer you got to the door, the louder the voices from the object became, but as the object touched the chains, silence rippled through the room.
You look down at the once glowing object, now beginning to disintegrate in the palm of your hand.
As the door opens, you had Luna the stone and look back towards the door. When you look back to her, you no longer see the once withered and hideuous creature but his beloved wife.
"I'm sorry for what I've done, its time set things right, for good.", you say as you grab her hand and walk through the blinding door.
Interesting, in the end your humanity saved you. Then again, you willingly killed your friends to achieve this feat. You have provided me with plenty of entertainment and for that I thank you, makes me want to keep my eye on you...and see what else may come.Without hesitation, you turn back and sprint towards the door, key and object in hand.
