Your eyes peel themselves open, revealing the cold stone floor you had laid hungry and unconcious just 12 hours before.
You are Julius, a rebellious princess in the middle of Medieval era, hardly considered a real monarch (as you are a woman), and more free-willed than your population would wish you to be.
You hardly remember what had happened in the past day, aside from your brother being murdered by the Sanglish monarchy, your friends being arrested for inciting a revolution. You also remember either [[The Capture]] or [[Your Brother's Death?]]
(set: $win to false)
(set: $bad to false)You remember how you and the revolutionaries were forced into surrender by Sanglish border guards. Your weakened force of comrades held the place for a fair amount of time, but the sheer amount of guards slowly wore away at your [[allies->boyfriend]].
Upon realizing their fallen foe had been the Princess of [[Casciadia]], the armies rounded up the barely alive, presented the prisoners to the [[Sanglish King]], and imprisoned them in the castle dungeon.
You're reminded that they've imprisoned your boyfriend along with the rest of your friends.
But right now, you decide to focus on getting out of your cell. Do you [[Fiddle with the pitiful lock]] or [[Look around for something else]]?

(set: $pitLock to false)You don't need any keys, seeing as your cell wasn't a problem for you in your aggressively strong state.
The chumps that ''SHOULD'' be guarding the ''JAIL'', aren't there, so you may come and go as you want without spilling blood. That's fortunate for them, but it puts you in an even worse mood.
You decide to free your friends from Jail.
You hear hissing noises from Jail #1. You conclude that it's Count Erdely, whining like a bratty batty. Might as well bring him with you, so long as he shuts up for once.
[[Break out prisoner in Jail #1]],
Or you could break out Wendell, the weak wizard who is incompetent in quick thinking instances. You assume the whimpering coming from Jail #2 is him. Might as well drag him along or interregate him, since he seems to be the quickest to rat on his friend, the coward.
[[Break out prisoner in Jail #2]]
Or you could bring possibly the most useful ally of yours, Antoine. He likely won't be an obstacle for you when you try to escape. You just hope he won't be too sappy with the love stuff.
[[Break out prisoner in Jail #3]] As you ''BARGE'' through the doors of the King's writing room, you meet Enrico's fiery eyes.
"Julius, you made a horrid mistake daring to escape my castle dungeon. And arriving unarmed? God must've smiled upon me today!" He outstretches his hands to the sky as thanks for this "blessing".
You ''SNORT'', "You've always been a nutcase, Enrico. can't believe you're still pushing the religion thing on me. Besides," You give a teethy smile to the out-of-shape chump that Enrico is. "''I don't need need weapons to knock you out!''"
Turns out you do. As soon as you brag, he takes out a short sword, advances quickly along the floor, [[and before you can put up your fists or counter->You've succumbed to death]] Usually, your normal small frame would surely lose in hand-to-hand combat with two guards, but your abnormal temper negates all disadvantages you would have. You ''PUMMEL'' the unsuspecting guard, causing him to collapse to the floor. His partner turns around, but before he can raise his weapon, you ''KICK'' him so hard in the chest that he stumbles back onto a railing, barely catching himself before falling. You notice the first guard trying to escape, but you ''STOMP'' on his neck to keep him from fleeing. //''That leaves the second guard.''// You briskly manuever over, ''TEARING'' the weapon from the flustered guard's hands, and with one swift movement, you ''THROW'' the guard to his death three stories below. What will you do to the first guard?
[[Kill the guard]] or [[Knock the guard unconscious]] ?

(set: $cutAr to true)It clicks to you finally. Your brother being murdered just hours before you were jailed for simply trying to flee the country with your [[boyfriend->BOYFRIEND]] and [[comrades->Erdely And Wendell]]?
The [[Sanglish King]] is finally trying to take over [[your land->CASCIADIA]] for good by brainwashing the public, as he usually is. You wouldn't have had to flee your own kingdom had he not denounced you as a heathenistic ruler and turned your citizens against the royalty.
That coward must've had a spy to not only ambush your brother but to tell him where we'd flee to!
Your blood begins to boil as you feel unknown strength floods your system. You ''BURST'' through the rusting iron bars that you'd generously call inescapable. The one thing rushing, swarming in your mind;//''The King and the traitor must pay for what they've done.''//

[[Fiddle with the pitiful lock]] or [[Look around for something else]] As you approach the cell, the hissing stops. When you get closer, you see Erdely staring back at you from the darkness "I'm not coming with Julius. You're going to kill me if I do."
You're confused, and upset that he would think so. "''I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T, ERDELY.''". You ''RIP'' open his cell and stomp in, as Erdely recedes further into the cell.
"Good luck," the vampire points to himself "Immortal". That's the last time you see Erdely.
ALRIGHTY. FINE. [[NEXT JAIL CELL.->Break out prisoner in Jail #2]]
"WENDELL!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU STILL THERE????" You scream, then realizing you may have been too harsh with the meek boy. By the time you arrive at the cell, you see his eyes full of tears.
"Oh Wendell, I'm sorry for shouting", you begin, but it's clear he understood what happened with Erdely. While whimpering, he casts a teleportation spell with the last of his power to escape his cell, and more importantly, you.
//"I'm sorry your Highness"//
You sigh.
[[Once cell left->Break out prisoner in Jail #3]] "Julius, I can explain everything" Antoine shouts in fear as you ''TEAR'' open his jail cell.
"''SAVE IT''" you growl. "''I'm in no mood to hear your excuses. Right now is when we focus on DRAGGING you out of here.''"
Before antoine can protest, you deliver on the ''DRAGGING'' promise and haul him [[BACK UPSTAIRS]] .You swiftly lunge at the guard on the ground with the spear, ''TEARING'' open a hole in the guard's chest. The guard writhes on the floor with what strength he has left, left to ''DIE SLOWLY'' You feel no pity, so you just walk away from the scene.
You've obtained the Spear! You try swinging it around a bit to get some ''DECAPITATION'' practice, and you chip a piece of the wall off.

It does the exact opposite. You ''SHOVE'' his hand away from you, growling a bit as you speak " ''You should know damn well what I'm angry about, traitor.''"
Antoine flinches and goes silent for a bit. "I'm sorry for what happened, but I had no choice Julius! It was the only way you could be safe from yourself!"
"''What are you talking about.''" You're ''GRINDING YOUR TEETH'' and ''CLENCHING YOUR FISTS'' at this point.

[[I THINK IT'S TIME TO GO AFTER THE TRAITOR->Charge the dungeon with your bare hands]] You leave without Antoine and without harming a soul. Well Mostly. You feel betrayed yet stronger in a certain sense, having left behind the toxicity of politics. You know that maybe you'll never have a soulmate again, but you'll be fine you think. The coals of love, anger, and revenge have all been...
//Fizzled out//
THE ENDYou decide to kill your boyfriend for betrayal and lying to you. As you feel your hands grow their claws, and your mouth grow their fangs, Antoine tries to weasel his way out, however his sweet words fall on deaf ears.
With the last remaining concsious you have, you think to yourself."Even Soulmates fight, maybe even break up, maybe soulmates don't have fairy tale endings".
Even Soulmates ''betray'' you. Antoine spends his last energy resisting the death from the woman he loves.
The last thing you hear as your humanity melts into thirst for blood is...
''JULIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''
THE ENDAs you begin to flee onto the horses and begin to charge the doors you hear the foul scream. This scream is the enraged voice of Enrico shouting out as you escape with your friends to go home.
And in this moment you realize your real freedom. You realized that even if everyone in your kingdom hates you, You have Antoine, Erdely and Wendell, and that's all that matters to you.
After you return from the thought, the last thing you and your friends hear is...
//Julius!!!!!!!!!!!//
THE END
Escape with just Antoine
You two make it back to your kingdom safely.
The day after you arrive home, you two get married.
Even though you left your friends behind, having each other is just enough for the both of you.
There's still a little sorrow left in your heart though.
THE ENDYou escape with nobody
Nothing really to feel about it, you move off to London and become a witch, cursing everyone who wronged you, but only with bad luck, and eternal damnation in hell. You feel bitter, but not any true burning rage. The true burning rage comes after you die.
THE END
While Erdely is a vampire and isn't attracted to you sexually, the two of you go on to conquer the rest of the mainland countries, (Including Sanglain), split amicably once you two have established solid empires. While you miss Antoine, you understand how important for a future empress to not get caught up in emotional affairs. You feel accomplished, even though your people hate your rule ever since you've returned. However, you find solace in the fact that you are amongst the greats of history. You escape with Wendell
Wendell is nervous that we're leaving everyone, but You assure him that things will be fine. When the two of you return to the kingdom, you completely endorsed his research in magic and wizardry. Eventually Casciadia got known for its advancements in the magic field. After the Renaissance of magic, You crown Wendell as the king of Casciadia. Even though Wendell isn't Antoine, it's enough for the two of you.
THE ENDYou don't find Enrico in his writing room oddly, but what you do find is his diary. "Haha, wimpy shrimpy's got a diary"
While you flip the pages for some pitiful literature, you find that earlier on in the diary, Enrico writes about talking to Antoine about an "important matter". Huh

You quickly hide behind a corner as you hear them say "Eh I don't feel like locking the armory, It's not like anyone is going to steal some swords and armor". You ponder if these were the same numbskulls who haphazardly locked you up.
After they turn a corner, you sneak inside to acquire some means of defense. Funnily enough, the bulky iron armor is too heavy for your weakened state, along with any other medium to large sized weapon, so you settle with a measly dagger for intense hand to hand combat.

go [[Back upstairs]] Casciadia, (you're probably going to butcher the proununciation, but it's fine), is your home kingdom, and a cozy little peninsula smack dab in the middle of all the trading routes for each country.
Needless to say it's valuable land, but at the behest of the Royalty's political personal space.
I've got a lot negative attention, from raids, to pirates, to marriage propositions. It's gotten to the point where I mathematicians with me to help calculate the odds of negotiating with me. It's always going to be zero, but the math nerd IS REALLY THE SALT IN THE WOUND.
There's a story that's been told from generation to generation about our bloodline, which I believe is just an analogy. "Each one that wears the crown of Casciadia holds the strength of dragons. Only when they're dethroned does it release". It's probably just about negotiation power.

Originally you suspected that he was only after you for your money, but after you got to know what kind of person he was, it seemed that kind of scumbaggery was out of his moral range.
He's been the most supportive with your choices and freedoms, even going so far to explore some taboo feelings for this era.
Antoine said that he would do anything and everything to protect you even at the expense of your land. Pretty noble of him. Most people in this world pull the exact opposite.
So you guess that's why you like him more than the other suitors.

Maybe you encited this, but you both aren't helping the conflict as of now.
Most recently, he killed your brother, Mark Anthony. Executed him in the middle of Sanglain's Capital and captured you in the hopes that the Casciadian monarchy would be replaced by his lineage.
You wouldn't really have a problem with how some political whiner treated and spoke of you, but he took it too far when he started to enforce his religion to rally your citizens against you.

Anotine hesitates. "The legend of your family bloodline is truer than you think. You have the strength and brute force of a dragon, because you are one, deep down inside. Your people will try to kill you if they know that you are a dragon, and it would be a tough thing to control while ruling the country, especially since you're so "popular" with the citizens. It would be too much for you, so I figured it would be easier if we could stay here imprisoned together, safe from everyone".
He tries looking in your eys and smiling, but this move is met with a ''FIERCE GLARE''
''You start to feel this dragon strength return to you as you begin to speak''
''GOODBYE ANTOINE''
