From the spaceship's glass window, we can see tiny lights clustered on our home planet, but otherwise the Earth is just covered in darkness. "Farewell, Mother Earth. One day we will sing of your glory and your warmth," Noa dramatically exclaimed, waving their arms around. "Your legacy will live on with uS~". "We will be back, Mother. I vow on my duty as a space earthling, I-" Noa continues. "aLRIGHT, Noa. Please, can we leave?" I said. We couldn't see the moon, but we knew its location so we just stared at its general direction. I pray to the moon goddess that we can find light soon. "It's so //shad//, the moon i-is like gone! It's like that one movie where that one fucker stole the moon," Noa fake sobbed. "It's still there, you just can't see it, **god...**" I shake my head at Noa's antics. "But what's the point if I can't see it and appreciate its pearly beauty???" I imagined Mars to be red, just like it was shown in the websites I browsed. We couldn't see anything from the glass windows; there was only darkness in front of us. "The system says Mars' moons Phobos and Deimos are nearby. You want to check them out?", Noa points to the GPS. //We won't see anything though,// was left unsaid. I've never seen a photo of Phobos the moon so I imagined that it resemble our moon: big, round, and glowy. As expected, we couldn't see a thing in the space in front of us, but I know that Phobos was there. "Saturn was a character in Roman mythology, did you know that?" Noa said out of the blue. "They are all characters in Roman mythology, Noa. Every **single** planet was named after the gods." "It's also got pretty rings around itself, too bad we can't see it right now," Noa ignores my comment. Yeah, it is a huge tragedy that I can't see the rings of Saturn even though I'm right here. "According to this picture I saved onto my phone for research purposes, Jupiter is yellow and cloudy," Noa said matter-of-factly. "That's cool." "It's a pity that we can't see anything." When I first read this moon's name, it reminded me of the word enchilada. I told Noa this and they started talking about the great cuisine culture of Mexico. "There used to be a restaurant down the block from my parents' house that made really amazing burritos," Noa said. "I really wish I ate there one last time before it closed forever lmao.." The name Europa reminded me of a character in a game that I've played. The character Europa was pretty cute. Europa the moon was...well I can't see Europa the moon. [[continues with our search|jupmoon]]

"Do you think this moon is related to that moon near Mars?" I asked. "Which one? Phobos? Lmao, because they sound alike?" "They are like three letters off; siblings are usually named similiarly." "Yeah, humans tends to do that, name their kids with the same name and just change up few letters." "Did you have siblings?" I asked Noa. "No, I didn't have siblings, but pretty sure my parents wouldn't have named us similarly," Noa answered, "I mean what'd they have named us? Noo, Noa, and, Noe?? Lol." I laughed. "Uranus has got to be the most unlucky planet with this kinda name," Noa laughed. "It's not funny, stop being rude to the planet //Uranus//," I said, trying to hold back my laughter. "LMAO, JUST LAUGH, IT'S FINE, HAHA. It's not like the planet is gonna fight us. You can't even see Uranus," Noa laughed louder. We didn't see anything at the moon, Puck, either. We decided to move to the next location and continue our quest for a new dependable star. "It's so dark here, ughh. It feels like we aren't moving at all," Noa whined. It does feel like we are just flowing in space blindfolded. I suddenly feel hopeless and trapped. Like we are just stuck here, we can't go anywhere, and there's no light in sight. "Just drive forward and avoid the other moons, we need to get a move on." "Alrighty." "Pluto, declared a planet since 13 years ago, is named after the dark lord of the big, sad underworld in Roman mythology. Pluto is tiny and pitiful. Pass this little rock and we are offically out of our solar system." Noa informed. "And now we charge! To the new light, to the new world. We, the chosen ones, are on this dangerous journey in search for that warm embrace...for HUMANITY!" Noa continued to shout while piloting the space ship, dodging the unseeable rocks. It seemed like we were in an endless tunnel. The GPS detected nothing near us for over an hour. Noa got bored and put the ship on auto-pilot. We started talking about Earth history. Well, more like //Noa// started spewing informations about Earth history. It was somewhat interesting, but the empty void surrounding the space ship made me really drowsy. Home fell apart as soon as the Sun’s light died out. The time I spent on Earth was relatively short. I haven't even learn to do my own taxes, but now I’m on a spaceship flying away from home. My fellow survivor, Noa, and I were the only ones able to leave Earth. We are tasked with finding a new home, one with a dependable energy source like our Sun. "Yeah," Noa dragged the GPS map around, clicking on four points. "There's more, but I know off the top of my head like four...there's [[Io]], [[Europa]], Ganymede, [[Callisto]]..." "Then let's go." "Roger that!!"

"Hmm, Saturn has [[Enceladus]], [[Tethys]], Dione, Rhea, [[Hyperion]], [[Phoebe]]...62 moons total!" "I think we should visit the moons for a little bit." "Sure, we can spare little a time, as a treat," Noa laughed.

"Something's wrong. There are big unknown objects very, very, very close to us." Noa panickedly fiddled with the controls. I lean closer to the GPS screen, hoping that I can figure out what's happening, but no such luck. "Let's check out the objects, maybe they're planets or moons that were unregistered?" I thought I saw something when we landed in front of the object, like a flicker of light. I couldn't determine what the object was, so Noa and I thought that we should give it a name and add it to our GPS system. I named this one "Byte", after the core components of a computer. We were overcome with joy when we got close to the object. I was looking at a yellowish object with lights reflected on it. After not seeing anything for a long time, I thought that I was seeing a mirage. "I'm so shooketh. THAT'S AN ACTUAL OBJECT IN SPACE," Noa pressed close to the glass window, "we have hope, there's light here." The object looked big enough to be a planet, but we weren't sure if we are qualified to label things as planets, so we called it a pseudo-planet. "We are on the right path, I hope that soon we can find our new home." We decide to name the pseudo-planet Yuzu, because its yellowish color reminds Noa of their favorite yuzu soda drink. Beast. We named this charred pseudo-planet Beast. Noa was originally going to name it "bitch" because it was "so far away" and "surrounded by many rocks and shit". I feel like Noa wanted to call //me// bitch for choosing to go to the farthest object. Upon arriving, we only found a burnt out pseudo-planet. There were still trails of blazing fire and magma floating on the surface of the pseudo-planet. Noa began to turn the ship around. //Tiamat// We both say, "Tiamat," when we saw the pseudo-planet, like the goddess of life in Mesopotomian mythology. It was a minty colored giant. We flew into the pseudo-planet's atmosphere and searched around for forms of life. We saw plenty of trees and animals. Light was plentiful and when we landed and looked up to sky facing south, there was a beautiful, bright warm glow in the blue backdrop. "It's s-ssho beautiful!!" I woke up to an alert that our ship was heading closer to a big object. Noa was not next to me. I tried to pilot the ship out of the way but it was too late. Our ship crashed onto the blazing red planet. I crawled out from the glass window and immediately searched for signs of Noa in the remains of the ship. "Noa? NOA, nOA???" However the fire surrounding the ship quicken its destruction. The ship exploded and I wasn't able to run away. //Before I closed my eyes, I thought I saw Noa running toward me in the midst of the fire.// ^^istg, noa^^ [[end]]

We've been flying in darkness for a long time now. Our spaceship is running out of fuel. The GPS isn't detecting anything around us. "No rocks, no aliens, not a single fucking soul," Noa sighed. "How much fuel do we have left?" I asked. "Not enough to full blast us out of this hellhole. It's been 13 hours already and we are jus-we are just sittin' here; **are we gonna die?**" Noa turned to me with a sad shock face and said. [[I responded with the only way I know how|permadeath2]]

"Yes, we have a 72% chance of dying here. This mission's success rate was always estimated at only 0.6%" "**aaaAAAHHH**, when I said I guess I'll die, I didn't actually mean iTTTT," Noa whined, "0.6%?? That's like less than an SSR rate up in GFS!! WHAT THE FUCK RNG GOD YOU WON'T TREAT ME WELL EVEN BEFORE DEATH AHHHH." I took a deep breath and interrupt Noa's rant.
