The Night Train

It's late at night. And you're going to your home. You are on a night train. The train is rather small. It has only 5 compartments including one control compartment in the front. You are now in compartment No. 5, which is the back of the train. The only thing you have is your briefcase. It seems there's almost no one on this train. You are sleepy and tired right now. Would you like to look at [[window]]?

No one is in the control compartment. And you understand that the man who died was the engine driver. You find out there is a [[suitcase]].

There are several items in the suitcase. A big [[rock]], [[scissors]], a bunch of [[papers]], and a [[cellphone|cellphonep]]. Suddenly you hear footsteps from a distance. It seems someone is coming to you. You try to lock the compartment, but the lock is broken. It's about time. What would you like to grab?

You're not sure whether a shock is caused by the news or the stranger with a big knife who is right in front of you. And the only things in your hands are some documents and newspapers. "We now get out of the tunnel. And I left my phone in Compartment No. 5. I hope this works." You call your phone as soon as possible with the driver's phone. The phone is ringing very loudly, and you hear that the sound of footsteps is getting softer. 'Yeah, It worked!' You get a little more time. What would you do [[now]]?

You open the door and jump out of the train. You fall on the rocky hill. It feels like you broke your one leg, but it doesn't matter for now. Now you try to call the police, but sudden, you notice that you left your phone on the train. You cry out. Will you get back home soon? You don't know. You crawl along the railroad, hoping to get some station soon. [[The End|Credit]]

You forcefully break the link between the control compartment and the rest. The train part without its head is decelerating, while your compartment is keeping its pace. You keep looking back until you are sure that the two parts are distant enough. You arrive at the terminal, station E with the clumsy skill of decelerating. You get off the train and run down to a taxi stop. You go home while thinking that you left your wallet on the train. You try not to think that the murderer is still alive and going to somewhere. You accelerate the train. It runs like it has a jet engine. You arrive at station E for less than a minute. Then it crashed to boxcar parked in the station. [[Baam!|END]]

You wake up in the hospital bed. You notice that bandages are all over your body and head. Doctors and polices are all around you. They have been waiting for you to wake up. They say after a big crash, there was a big fire and you got burned. They say you do not worry because the murderer you met on the train died by the accident. You have no worries. Because the dead one is not the murderer. It's not the clever one who tricked you with phones survived, it's you. Yes, they all get wrong. It's you who killed the engine driver. You are so happy that the only witness is now gone by accident. You might kill someone someday, but that's soon after you get recovered from injury. [[The End|Credit]]
