Awakened from a dream by a pain in your back, you see lights flickering as the cold metal floor touches your skin, awakening you from your hazy state. You flip yourself over and getting to your knees are knocked over by what sounded like an explosion from the experimental science division. An alarm sounds and repeats “Please remain calm and proceed to the nearest escape craft” you freeze for a second as you try to process what is happening, snapping back to reality by the echoing sounds of debris hitting the station's hull. You make it to your feet with the pain in your back fading, to see that you were knocked from your bed by a previous explosion, grabbing the bed to sturdy yourself you open the door. You see a few people running past going through the crew quarters to reach the nearest escape pods. Then three familiar faces you recognize as your friends, slow and they beckon for you to follow them, [[//do you follow them as they go through the crew quarters//|Follow your friends]] or [[//do you think that going through the crew quarters will be slower than going around//|Faster Direction]]?Instinctively you follow your friends as it might be better to stay together as it would be better than running off by yourself. As the group makes its way through the hallways trying to find the fastest way through the maze that is the crew quarters. Following the emergency signs through the quarters getting closer to the escape pod loading room, you begin to see scientists bleeding will what look like severe wounds being loaded into the pods. They ask everyone to be calm and get into lines, seeing that you and your friends' estimate that you are over 10 pods away, [[//do you try and quietly split off from your friends in hopes of making your way to an escape pod by yourself//|Go by yourself]] or [[//do you believe that it is better if you stay here as this might be the fastest way now//|Stay with the group]]?You motion to your friends that you will follow them through the crew quarters to the escape pods but you believe you remember a faster way to the escape pods that do not go through the maze of hallways of the crew quarters that are bound to be teeming with panicking people who are all trying to get to the escape pods. You know that if you quickly run after them you can convince them to follow you your way and hopefully get off the station as fast as possible but they may only end up slow you down. [[//Do you let your friends continue the way they're going and go alone//|Go alone]] or [[//do you chase after them to show them your way to the escape pods//|Go after your friends]]?You quietly slip away from your friends as they are concentrated on the loading area and how fast they are loading people. You make your way around the hallways looking for a faster way to the escape pods. You see a hallway that will allow you to cut into the line near the front, you see this as the quickest way to escape the crumbling station. A large explosion erupts shaking the station, sounding like it possibly tore the station in half. The alarm is interrupted by a voice saying "The station has sustained critical damage and is falling into Earth's atmosphere, please stay calm and make your way to the nearest escape craft" the order that had preceded was replaced by chaos and fear this was the perfect moment to get to an escape pod. [[//Do you decide to go back to find your friends//|Save your friends]] or [[//do you make your way into the line//|Get in line]]?While you are all waiting calmly in line with your friends watching people board the escape pods you can only hope that your turn comes soon. One of your friends notices that they are filling the escape pods beyond max capacity to help speed up the evacuation, giving you hope that you will be in a pod within a couple of minutes. Your hope quickly is forgotten when a large explosion erupts shaking the station, sounding like it possibly tore the station in half. The alarm is interrupted by a voice saying "The station has sustained critical damage and is falling into Earth's atmosphere, please stay calm and make your way to the nearest escape craft" the calmness that had preceded was replaced by chaos and fear with everyone pushing trying to get to an escape pod. The chaos in the loading area only lasted for less than a minute before another explosion near the loading area knock almost everyone to their feet before a breach in the hull created a vacuum sucking everyone into the void.Your decision to make it to the hanger gives you hope that you will escape and it provides you the resolve you need to persevere and survive this ordeal. You waste no time, running down the hallways trying to make it to the hanger hoping there is a ship still docked. While you are running down the hallways you begin to notice the eerie silence as the only noise you hear is the sound of your shoes hitting the metal floor. You begin to think that you are the only survivor left aboard the station and that everyone has either escaped from the station or died in the vacuum of space or from the explosions destroying the station. While running you catch a glimpse of a flashing sign that reads "Emergency escape pods" with an arrow pointing left. [[//Do you continue to the hanger bay hoping that there is a ship is still there//|Continue to hanger]] or [[//do you follow the sign to the escape pod hoping that has not been used//|Emergency escape pod]]?Despite the enticing possibility of an escape pod being left, you must be realistic and understand that it probably already been ejected and that checking will only waste valuable time that you cannot spare. You see an entrance to the hanger bay and you begin to hear what sounds like an engine igniting and you realize that you hear a ship and it is about to leave the hanger and it is your only way out. You run to the door to find it shut and locked. You frantically look around trying desperately to get in and you see a keycard reader and you go to find yours in your pockets to find out that you left it in your room. You, unfortunately, see what looks like a hanger worker that had been severely injured and died and must either [[//search his body for a keycard//|Keycard]] or [[//search for another open door//|Find another door]]?You have hope that there will still be an escape pod left so that you can escape this station. You follow the signs towards the escape pods going away from the hanger and you think about what will happen if there are no escape pods left. You enter the room to see that all five pods have been already ejected and that this gamble might have cost him dearly. The only option you have left is to make your way back and [[//head to the hanger as fast as you possibly can//|To the hanger]].After the disappointment of finding that the escape pod had already been used you hope that you will find better luck in the hanger. You reach the point that you turned at to get to the escape pods and you can hear an engine of a ship and it gives makes you run even faster towards the hanger and you see that the entrance to the hanger is open. You run through the door waving your arms like crazy in hopes of getting one of the pilots' attention but as you look for the ship you see that it has already left the hanger. Your heart sinks as that was your only hope of escaping this nightmare, [[//the feeling of dread overwhelms and your fear of death paralyze you//|Wait for death]] but you see the control center and it gives you the idea of [[//trying to communicate with the ships ask if they can rescue you//|Attempt to make contact]]?You become paralyzed by the fear of death as the station begins to crumble around you. You stand perfectly still while the station around you continues to explode and the station starts to enter the Earth’s upper atmosphere tearing the station apart. You stand paralyzed in the hanger for a couple of minutes before a large explosion originates from the fuel tanks near the hanger and you are consumed by the flames of the inferno. You quickly make your way into the hanger control center and immediately try and establish communications with any ships that you can. You send out a simple message of help trying to get any response back from a ship. After a few seconds passed then a voice answering your call for help. The ship's pilots begin discussing how they can rescue me without redocking and putting the ship and its occupants in danger. You quickly begin thinking about how you can get onto the ship from the station with the biggest point of contention being docking anywhere on the station as the station was beginning to heat up in the atmosphere posing a grave threat to any docked ship.
[[//You try and convince the ship to dock despite their objections appealing to the pilots' humanity and that if they leave they are condemning you to certain death//|Convince]].
[[//You suggest another possible way but both you and the pilots think it is a very risky plan to reach the ship without docking but it is worth the risk//|Another way on]].You appeal to the pilots' humanity and they decide that the situation is not as bad as they originally thought. They believe that if you are quick enough to get into the ship, they believe that they can enter the hanger without needing to dock and all you would have to do is jump into an airlock. You tell them that you can do anything necessary to get aboard the ship and that you only need one opportunity. You quickly run down to the hanger bay and climb up to the docking platform where the ship begins to pull up next to. You see the airlock open and coming toward you so you get ready to make a small jump into the airlock. The moment comes and you jump, boarding the ship but before the ship can clear the hanger an explosion occurs near one of the nearby fuel storage creating a chain reaction that ended up destroying the ship and killing you and everyone else aboard the ship. You begin to think of other ways to reach the ship as they have made it very clear that they will not dock with the station in its current condition. You ask if you could somehow reach the ship could they let you inside and they say “yes” leaving you with a decision to make [[//continue to try and find a way the ship could dock safely with the station//|Try and dock]] or [[//getting to the nearest airlock and try and fly in space to the ship and enter in the ship through an airlock //|EVA]]?The pilots of the ship continue to make their position on docking with the station very clear, stating that they will not dock with the station in its current state. They again repeat that they are unfortunately put in the position of choosing to endanger multiple lives to save one. You understand their decision as the fear of death overcomes you as you hear the pilots both say that they are sorry they could not do more. As you wait for the inevitable you can feel the station beginning to be torn apart as it enters the lower atmosphere, seeing the ship fly away your death is now certain. You quickly run to the nearest airlock and put on a spacesuit, hearing a large explosion that seems to have come from the hanger. The airlock door opens and you understand that you only get one shot at this and it must be perfect otherwise it may result in you floating away in space. You make the necessary preparations for your jump and you jump, using the suits very limited thrust to adjust your course so that you will hit the ship. The ship comes very fast at you as you get closer but you lucky manage to hit the ship and grab onto a bar. You let out a sigh of relief the hardest part is over and you slowly make your way to the airlock where you enter the ship your are suddenly overwhelmed with joy as you have survived. You look out the window to see your home fall back to Earth, burning up and tearing it apart. You enter the hallway and quickly try and make your way through the narrow hallways going against the flow of traffic. You reach the end of the people evacuation and begin to see empty hallways allowing you to run. You reach a long bridge that helps connects the station and you sprint arcross the bridge as another explosion rocks the station and trips you up and knocking you to the ground. As you get back up and moving another massive explosion shakes the station and you look out a window and see that the loading area and surrounding area around the nearest escape pods is torn open and exposed to the void of space. You pause to think about how that could have been you if you followed your friends, it also hit you that your friends are most likly dead as the crew quarters area looks criticaly damaged. [[//Do you risk it and continue to the wreaked area in hopes that there are escape pods left//|Continue to the escape pod]] or [[// do you decide to make your way to the hanger bay where there might be a ship//|Get to the hanger bay]]?You quickly decide to run after your friends calling their names trying to get them to stop. You see that only one of your friends has stopped and waited for you and you quickly explain that going through the crew quarters will take to long and that you know a faster way. Your friend suggests they go and get the other two as they should all stick together. [[//Do you tell your friend to leave them behind and go the faster way//|Go your way]] or [[//do you try and chase after the other two friends and convince your other two friends that your way is faster//|Try and convince the others]]?You believe that the damage you can see from the window does not seem as bad as you originally thought and that it looks like there is a high chance that there are escape pods left. You continue making your way through the station when another alarm says “The station has sustained critical damage and is descending into Earth’s atmosphere”. Your first reaction is to panic as time is of the essence and you immediately quicken your pace and start running to make it to an escape pod before the station breaks apart. As you are running another explosion occurs, this one feeling much closer and originated from the direction you are heading and it could have possibly destroyed the path you wanted to take. [[//Do you continue and hope that your path has not been destroyed by the explosion//|Continue despite the explosion]] or [[//do you decide to make your way to the hanger in hopes that a ship could be still docked there//| Get to the hanger bay]]?As you run towards the hanger bay navigating the maze that is the station you begin to think and figure that finding any unused escape pods are unlikely given the amount of time that has passed since the initial explosion and how empty the station is. As you are run through the hallways you hear a noise that sounds like someone calling for help. You continue to follow the sound to see an individual trapped behind a locked door that seems stuck, [[//do you run past saving yourself//|Save yourself]] or [[//together try and pry the door open//|Help with the door]]?You continue despite the explosion that sounded like it destroyed a part of your path to the escape pods. You get off the bridge and you head towards the direction of the escape pods hoping that nothing is blocking your path. You stop as you reach a door that has a flashing light and a warning LED that says the other side of this door is not pressurized and exposed to space. It becomes clear that you have made a mistake and that the time wasted to reach a dead-end may be the deciding factor if you escape from the station or not. You turn around and try to reach the hanger as that is the nearest area and as you started running towards the hanger, another explosion in front of you depressurized the way to the hanger, trapping you in a small hallway between the vacuum of space. You look to see if there is any way out seeing a door, opening it revealed a small storage closet. You tear through the closet looking for anything to try and improve the current situation to no avail there is nothing helpful in here. Your situation looks dier as the air your breathing is now finite, with the bleak situation it becomes apparent that your death is inevitable. You change your mind deciding that head to the hanger bay is the safest bet as all paths to escape pods are most likely destroyed. You also figure that finding any more unused escape pods is also unlikely given the amount of time that has passed since the initial explosion and how empty the station is. As you are run through the hallways you hear a noise that sounds like someone calling for help. You continue to follow the sound to see an individual trapped behind a locked door that seems stuck, [[//do you run past saving yourself//|Save yourself]] or [[//together try and pry the door open//|Help with the door]]?You run past the door deciding that the trapped individual will only decrease your chances of making it out of this ordeal alive. You see an entrance into the hanger bay and you begin to hear what sounds like an engine igniting and you realize that you hear a ship and it is about to leave the hanger and it is your only way of escaping from the station. You run to the door to find it locked. You frantically look around trying desperately to get in and you see a keycard reader and you go to find yours in your pockets to find out that you left it in your room. You, unfortunately, see what looks like a hanger worker that had been severely injured and died and must either [[//search his body for a keycard//|Keycard]] or [[//search for another open door//|Find another door]]?You quickly get to work trying to help pry the door open and you remember seeing a supply closet nearby. You quickly run to the closet to get find something that many help and you open the door to conveniently find a metal crowbar. You quickly run back to the door and use the crowbar to break the lock of the door almost instantly, the door slides open and the individual immediately shows his gratitude towards you for saving his life. The moment was very touching but short-lived as we both knew that neither of you was safe. You both started to run towards the hanger in hopes of finding a ship there and coming across a locked entrance to the hanger the man quickly reaches into his pocket and swipes his keycard, opening the door. Both of you running into the hanger to see the last ship's engines firing up and you both make a desperate attempt to get the attention of the ship's pilots. Luckily one of the pilots sees the two of you and holds the ship until the two of you board before leaving the station. As the ship heads towards Earth you cannot help but look at the wreckage that was an orbital station and your home for the last 5 years be torn apart by explosions and the Earth’s atmosphere. You and your friend leave the other two behind as they were adamant about going through the crew quarters. You both start running down the hallways as another explosion rocks the station and knocks you both to the ground. As the two of you get back up and moving another explosion shakes the station and you both look out a window and see that the area around the escape pod loading area is torn open and exposed to the void of space. [[//Do you continue to the wreaked area in hopes that there is an escape pod left//|Continue to the escape pod together]] or [[//make your way to the hanger bay where there might be a docked ship//|Get to the hanger bay together]]?You continue to make a desperate plea to your two stubborn friends to trust you and that you know this station better than they do, this only serves to anger your friends. After a heated argument, it became clear that neither side was going to win and that all that you had been doing was making a scene. You finally reach an impasse and you must decide to [[// leave with your one friend//|Leave]] or [[//stay and continue to argue with them//|Stay]]?You both believe that the damage you can see from the window does not seem as bad as you originally thought and that it looks like there is a high chance that there are escape pods left. You both understand what was just said and the two of you immediately quicken your pace and start running to make it to an escape pod before the station breaks apart. As you are both running through the hallways your friend hears a noise that sounds like someone calling for help. You follow them as you can hear it as well and you both continue to follow the sound to find an individual trapped behind a locked door that seems stuck, [[//do you both run past saving yourselves //|Save you and friend]], [[//together try and pry the door open//|Both help with the door]], or [[//send you friend ahead to stall any ships in the hanger//|Split up]]?

You both start to run towards the hanger to find that a ship is waiting for the two of you to get aboard before departing. You both make it into the airlock of the ship and a feeling of relief overcomes you. You look to see your friend processing the same emotional experience as you trying to deal with the loss of two very good friends. You also feel remorse as the man you left trapped surely was condemned to death by you and your friend's actions. As the ship makes its way towards Earth the both of you cannot help but look at the wreckage that was a great orbital station and your home for the last 5 years be torn apart by explosions and the Earth’s atmosphere. You both quickly get to work trying to pry the door open and you remember seeing a supply closet nearby. [[//Do you continue to the wreaked area in hopes that there is an escape pod left//|Continue to the escape pod together]] or [[//make your way to the hanger bay where there might be a docked ship//|Get to the hanger bay together]]?As you stay and argue you begin to lose support from your friend and they turn against you agree that it is better if we stay all together. The change in support negatively impacted your argument and the three of them now insist that you stay with the group. You would like to sneak off to prove them wrong but they are adamant about you not leaving their side as they are constantly watching you as they fear that you will take the “faster way” and not get off the station. [[//So you are forced to stay with the group//|Stay with the group]].You think to yourself that you cannot in good conscience leave your friends waiting in line when you can ensure their safety. You start to run back through the hallways looking and trying to remember which hallway you came from. You begin to think that they may have already made it to an escape pod and that in leaving them and not saving yourself, you have put yourself in more danger by delaying your escape. Looking down a hallway you catch a glimpse of what looked to be your friends, you feel a sense of relief as you start to make your way towards them. Then an explosion erupts and exposes the loading area to the void of space sucking most people in the surrounding area into space. The sudden depressurization of the station pulled you off your feet towards the opening where you frantically grabbed at anything to stop you from being sucked out. A door suddenly begins to close to stop the depressurization of the station and in the process, you can grab a handle for just a second to slow yourself allowing the door to close, saving you from the void. The air begins to flow back into the hallway and you realize with the near-death experience that you are lucky to have survived as if you had been with them you would share their fate. Faced with the fact that you still are not safe, you begin to think about how to get to safety as the escape pods are all destroyed. [[//You remember the hanger and must hope that a ship is still docked//|Hanger bay]].You run towards the loading area sliding between people as panic had taken over the loading area as people begin to push, trying to get into an escape pod. You quietly cut in front of people making your way toward the front of the line pushing colleagues aside. You quickly find yourself in front of an escape pod and are loaded into it and take a seat, you see that the max capacity is 10 people but 13 people have been loaded into it making you slightly worried. The door is being shut when you see one of your friends and the two of you lock eyes, broken by the closing door. The pod is quickly ejected from the station which looks far worse than you originally thought. Not even five seconds after your pod was ejected another explosion occurs hurling debris towards your escape pod damaging it slightly. Looking back at the station it became clear to you that all within the proximity of the loading area are dead as the loading area is no longer there. You think to yourself was is worth it, leaving your friends to die to save yourself? You go over to the man's body to look for his keycard.
[[//Search his front pockets//|Front]].
[[//Search his back pockets//|Back]].
[[//Search his shirt pocket//|Shirt]].You run down the corridor looking for another entrance to the hanger seeing another closed-door, you begin to lose hope that you make it onto the ship that you can hear about to leave. You continue to search pass two more entrances both closed and the gravity of the predicament you are in becomes truly visible as you realize that you are going to die and there is no point running from it. You still have hope and begin to run back towards the original door hoping that will find a keycard on the dead man's body. As you run you hear the roaring of the ship's engines and the noise begins to quiet and you realize that the ship has left the station and there is no escape. You slowly sit down to enjoy your last few minutes of life before the station begins to burn up in Earth's atmosphere. You search his front pant's pockets looking for the keycard finding his wallet. You open it hoping to find his a keycard and going through the wallet frantically, [[//your search turns up empty//|Keycard]].You wish you did not have to do this to a dead man but to reach his back pockets you must roll him over. Regretting doing this you flip him over causing more blood to spill out onto the floor. Reaching into his back pant's pockets you find that his pockets are empty. [[//You roll him back over and continue searching//|Keycard]].You look as see he has a shirt pocket with what looks like a card of some kind that resembles an ID card. You grab the ID card from the shirt pocket and immediately run to the door and swipe the card. You wait and you suspect that the card does not work then the door slowly begins to open and once the gap becomes wide enough you run through trying to flag down the ship to have it stay for a few more moments. Your effort is in vain as the ship is already halfway out of the hanger, your only hope gone. You look around to see the control center for the hanger bay and you believe that [[//you may be able to contact the ship and have them come and rescue you//|Attempt to make contact]].
