through your decent you again feel the oddly plesant sensation of your ears equilizing in presure. A constant companion on dives.

following the edge of the shelf down, you eventually arrive at the bottom of your dive site. your decent is perfect, landing you softly on the sand infront of your destination. [[Minus Well Cave]]. Passing through the opening, you are greeted with a large cavern filled with starlingly clear water. You know it to be a large cavern, for there seems to be light streaming through the water from somewhere above the cavern.
The light from above illuminates the large chamber of this cave, allowing you to just be able to see the far side of the wall, and the bottom.
As you take in your surroundings you notice something glinting in the light, from the bottom of the chamber.
There also seems to be a variety of tunnels leading into this chamber.

Swimming over to the two divers, you see they have high tech rebreather rigs on. That is letting them get right up and close to a group of fish hanging out on the cave wall. As you approch though, the bubbles from your open-circut rig frighten the fish way.
The divers turn to you and give a slow wave hello.

Rising in depth you are certain that the light you see is not a trick. You are positive there is some kind of opening to the surface above you.

You breach the surface and are finally able to take a breath of fresh air.
here on the surface in this cavern you find yourself safe from immediate danger from lack of oxygen, but find you have a new problem.
You are very much still inside a cave.
The light that you had see, is streaming down from a hole in the ceiling of this cavern. The hole seems to be some 20 or 30ft above the surface of the water.
you now understand that this cavern is in a sort of tear drop shape, with the bottom being wider and the cavern slowly narrowing to a point of light at the top.
The hole looks to be the size and shape of an old Well...so you could fit through it, but you have no way to reach it.

Although it doesnt seem like a danger, one wrong move could disturb the calm water around the fine silt that covers the floor and walls of some cave systems.
Such an unlucky diver will quickly find themselves in a zero visibility environtment. After that, getting turned around and or sucumming to panic are serious potential issues.

Being very careful to not disturb the silt, you make your way to the most visible of the chests. This trunk like chest rests on its back, such that the lid is poised to open, but is caught by a rusting latch.

Here is the culpret for the glimmering you could see earlier. As just through the crack in the lid, can you see a mass of coins, reflecting what little sun made it down here.
