<title>Inclusive Innovation in Agriculture: Redesigning Agtech Ecosystems for All</title>
      <link>https://escholarship.org/uc/item/1s8684rc</link>
<description>Our modern agricultural sector faces an&amp;nbsp;exceptional set of challenges, from&amp;nbsp;misalignment between solutions and actual&amp;nbsp;use-cases, to cultural and social barriers&amp;nbsp;that hinder inclusive innovation. Inclusive&amp;nbsp;innovation is a strategy that actively involves&amp;nbsp;a diverse range of&amp;nbsp; stakeholders in the design,&amp;nbsp;development, and implementation of solutions&amp;nbsp;to ensure they are technically viable,&amp;nbsp; socially&amp;nbsp;acceptable, and practically usable. Herein,&amp;nbsp;we propose an inclusive innovation approach&amp;nbsp;to bridge the gaps between&amp;nbsp; entrepreneurs,&amp;nbsp;customers, users, and the use-cases they serve.&amp;nbsp;By fostering more intentional, holistic,&amp;nbsp;and inclusive technology development&amp;nbsp;strategies, inclusive innovation can ensure that solutions are more valuable and applicable to&amp;nbsp;the complexity of agricultural businesses.</description>
