Who can submit
The California Digital Library (CDL) publishes materials resulting from work conducted
under the auspices of the CDL. eScholarship is the appropriate publication site for
materials that speak directly or theoretically to issues related to any of CDL’s areas
of expertise and engagement as well as to issues of interest to the broader digital
library community. Operational and project documents are out of scope and more
appropriately distributed through the CDL web site. For additional information, please
contact eScholarship support.
Rights and permissions
Before submitting a publication to eScholarship, please be sure that all necessary permissions have been cleared. You retain the copyright to your publication and grant us the nonexclusive right to publish this material, meaning that you may also publish it elsewhere.
It is necessary that you agree to the terms of publishing in eScholarship listed in the author agreement during the Submission Guidelines.
Removal
A publication may be updated or removed from public view by sending a request to the system administrator at help@escholarship.org. However, a citation to the original version of the publication will always remain on the site.
