The Proceedings of the International Plant Nutrition Colloquium XVI is a repository of the peer-reviewed papers submitted for presentation at the International Plant Nutrition Colloquiums, held every four years.

The papers submitted for presentation at these Colloquiums illustrate the frontiers of current knowledge and their applications in crops or managed ecological systems. The authors and presenters are primarily drawn from academia, research organizations, private industry and stakeholder groups.

The International Plant Nutrition Colloquium is the most important international meeting on fundamental and applied Plant Nutrition from both an agricultural and environmental context. The next Colloquium will be held in Sacramento, California August 26-30, 2009.
