Complications Associated with Early versus Delayed Fixation of Rotational Ankle Fractures


Rotational ankle fractures are one of the most common injuries seen and treated by orthopedists nationwide. Traditionally, surgeons are trained to delay operative repair of fractures in the presence of overlying soft tissue injury to prevent avoidable postoperative complications.
