This is a proposal to encode the N'Ko script in the international character encoding standard Unicode. This script was published in Unicode Standard version 5.0 in July 2006. The script was created to write the Manden languages of West Africa. A few changes have been made to the set of N'Ko characters in Unicode since this proposal was accepted, so users should refer to the latest code charts, accessible from: .
