Center for Embedded Network Sensing

In this poster, we are exploring sensor networks expansion to media and film production environment. We have derived unique requirements and research challenges in this new driver application domain and proposed1) a deployment-time service to guide a person for rapid and robust sensor deployment, and 2) sensor network system to collect data in synchronized with the film camera frame rate. We evaluated our first implementation of Augmented Recording System in TV studio and we built a method to measure latency between sensor readings and video frames in a systematic way.
