This is a collection of prose and poetry about my relationship to land and the landscape. These written works have come out of field research, traveling to various sites in America, as well as the Philippines. Content utilizes references from tours and information from historic sites involving the development of atomic energy, industrial mining in Utah, and tourism. Research regarding the founding documents of the United States, as well as visits to the National Constitution Center, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. The goal of this research was to question the vocabulary used in the art discourse and in defining my own identity through growing knowledge of histories I am connected to.
