UC Merced

This thesis is a part of the ongoing work at UC Merced to develop and apply solar thermal systems capable of efficiently providing temperatures of up to C. Additionally, the research has been focused on designs that do not require the need of solar tracking in an effort to reduce costs and ultimately allow the technology to be adopted (prototype shown in Figure 2).
