Abstract

Catalina is 62,000 word literary novel. Elsa, a mid-thirties woman struggling with an identity crisis, returns to Los Angeles after being fired from MOMA. On a spur of the moment sailing trip to Catalina with old friends, and under a mounting prescription drug and alcohol binge, she revisits past memories and relationships with increasing fractured urgency.
