Insecticide is a real-time strategy game for two players. Its premise is that two ant colonies on either side of a sandbox have gone to war and are attempting to cross the sandbox and attack each others homes. The players each command an army of ants and mercenary arthropods choosing which fighters to send out, when to deploy them, and what paths they should take. Players may also choose to use chemical weapons which automatically refill over time. Gameplay is fast-paced and exciting as both players are attempting to simultaneously attack and defend in a contest to outwit or outlast the other.
