Abstract

Through this project you can develop and strengthen your ability and confidence to speak in front to people. This project specifically focuses on practicing public speaking and receiving and providing feedback.

  • •Discover leadership skills through presenting ideas to others
  • •Practice presenting, then receiving feedback in a safe environment
  • •Participate in county, section, and state presentation days and learn about the 4-H presentation categories for these events
This sheet outlines activity ideas at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of skill; also gives suggestions on how to tie the activity to STEM, healthy living, citizenship, and leadership goals.
