AN ENERGY-DISPERSIVE X-RAY FLUORESCENCE ANALYSIS OF PALEOINDIAN ARTIFACTS FROM THE GREAT DIVIDE BASIN, SOUTHERN WYOMING

Abstract

The artifacts are produced from two of the most commonly used obsidian sources in Wyoming, Malad, eastern Idaho, and Obsidian Cliff in the Yellowstone Volcanic Field, western Wyoming (see Kunselman 1998; Table 1 here).
