This is a proposal to encode the Hatran script in the international character encoding standard Unicode. The script was published in Unicode Standard version 8.0 in June 2015. Hatran was used to write a dialect of Aramaic from about 97 or 98 BCE until the fall of the city of Hatra in 240 CE.
