The goals of this retrospective chart review quality improvement project were to evaluate: 1.) If U/S is the more appropriate initial imaging modality based on diagnostic test performance variables (DTPV). 2. )DTPV = sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV). 3.) Which variables (gender, BMI, etc.) affect the DTPVs.
