Shark attack is a table top resource game for 2-4 players. There are several mechanics in the game that allows players to gather items to help them defeat shark attacks or restore health after an attack; the point of the game is to stay alive. The aesthetic goals I aimed for were challenge and competition. When I created the game I was focused on children around ages 6-12 as my audience. I wanted them to be able to have fun, but most importantly I wanted them to practice their arithmetic and reasoning skills.
