The solubility of methyl bromide in pure water, 35%. sodium chloride and seawater
Abstract
A simple gas liquid membrane equilibrator has been used to determine the solubility of methyl bromide in pure water, 35‰ NaCl, and seawater over the temperature range from O°to 30°C. The measurements have an accuracy of ±2% and a relative precision of 4%. The data have been fit to a temperature and salinity dependent expression to provide solubilities for methyl bromide in pure water seawater, and NaCl solutions.
