This is a Unicode proposal to encode three characters in the Old Italic script block in order to represent the alphabets of northern Italy in the international character encoding standard Unicode. Based on this document, two characters were approved (YE and NORTHERN TSE) and the name of one previously approved character was changed (from TTE to SOUTHERN TSE) by the standards committees. The characters were published in Unicode version 10.0 in 2017.
