Abstract

California had nearly 6,000 new cases of HIV infection in 2011, the highest in the nation. Of those affected, the gay Black and Latino communities are at highest risk. This story takes place in Los Angeles and follows two men who have lived through the epidemic and converses with youth who are advocating for change while navigating their own lives.
