Everyone who has experienced grief due to the loss of a loved one, all carry a uniqueperspective about it. These feelings or emotions are rather intimate and can only be expressed ona more personal level. One of the common ways of expressing these raw emotions are throughmusic and art. By collaborating with fellow honors student, John Son, we wish to create a uniqueexperience for listeners who have experienced grief and also to listeners who have not, and shareour journey of grief and solace. Each song that we will be composing is tied with a particularemotion of grief. Expressing emotions through art is our way of representing a personal journeyof understanding the passing of life and how we can move forward. The album cover art is acollection of memories and symbolic imagery of nature to describe the passing of time, life anddeath, and the permanence of love.
