No data is associated with this publication.
Abstract

This is a story about a growing trend of investors investing in agricultural lands across the Third World. Critics call them Land Grabs, while supporters say they bring much needed cash to struggling nations. The article focuses on one company, Karuturi Global, and how it's expanding across the African continent. The company already owns a plot the size of Rhode Island in Ethiopia and is looking to other African nations for expansion.
