Lighting Design: A Tether to Reality
- Tindell, Walter Baughman
- Advisor(s): Burrett, Alan
Abstract
Lighting is about the darkness more than it is about light itself. A designer should always let the design/vision grow like a tree, grow it to its fullest and then trim it down to fit its needs. Rely on your instincts in the moment to judge an artistic decision. I don't care about being right, I care about being interesting. Fight for real estate. Fight the right battles. Networking is half the game. Do what feels right.
