Abstract

Ulaanbaatar is the world's coldest capital, and one of the most polluted cities on earth during winter. One in ten residents die of air pollution. Explore the public health crisis’ causes, surrounding political controversy, and future outlook in this rapidly-developing Asian city. This web package introduces audiences to complex challenges of urbanization which cities across the world can learn from.
