Single-Factor Polynomial Component Analysis
Abstract
Polynomial component and factor analysis are defined. Algorithms, based on multidimensional array approximation methods, to fit a model with a single common factor to observed multivariate cumulants are described and applied to a psychometric example. Software in R is included.
