Advances in the viral etiology of leukemia and lymphoma.
Abstract
Various virus leukaemias are known in many animal species. Occasionally ocornavirus marker can also be demonstrated in human leukaemias. Reasons are given for failure to detect them, or for their masking. Reverse transcriptase and virus antibodies are demonstrable in the leukaemia cells of humans. It seems that certain viruses might be associated with certain leukaemias. (I. Boll - Berlin)
