Dryadalis
Abstract
Dryadalis is a game about adventure and survival. It is a three level based playable game. Each level contains an evil creature who will try to kill the Elf, however there will also be a good creature who will try and defend it. The mission for this game was to create a Movement-Based Game with an alternative/expansive use of logic through a fantasy-based set of ideas. We created a game that uses a fictional character, Elf, to represent the ideals of goals and responsibilities everyone has in life. However, everyone also is surrounded by good influencers and bad influencers. Therefore, Dryadalis represents why it is important to keep accepting help from good influencers and fight bad ones away. The player will have the control to move the Elf away/towards danger while also fighting back.
