Policies for Submissions
Who Can Submit
The Berkeley Department of Classics only publishes materials about work conducted under the auspices of Department. The editors reserve the right to determine the suitability of submissions. For additional information, please contact classicsresearch@berkeley.edu.
Removal
A paper may be updated or removed from public view by sending a request to the system administrator at classicsresearch@berkeley.edu. However, a citation to the original version of the paper will always remain on the site.
Author Review
Authors are asked to review PDFs created from their papers within 5 days of being sent the PDF. At this stage, we're unable to make any changes beyond the rare error that occurs in PDF conversion.
Rights and Permissions
Before submitting a paper to the repository, please be sure that all necessary permissions have been cleared. You retain the copyright to your paper and grant us the nonexclusive right to publish this material, meaning that you may also publish it elsewhere.
It is necessary that you agree to the terms of publishing in this repository. Please include in your email when submitting your paper the following language: "I have read the Policies of the Department of Classics research section of the eScholarship Depository. If the paper has been published elsewhere, either I have verified in my agreement with the publisher that I have the right to post a digital version of this paper, or I have obtained consent from the publisher to post a digital version of this paper. I hereby grant to the Department of Classics the nonexclusive right to publish this material."
