Abstract
On September 11, 2014, Lauren Kroiz (Art History) presented on Romare Bearden's Berkeley mural, an important work of public art that is the source of the ubiquitous multi-ethnic logo found on everything from City of Berkeley trucks to stationery and brochures.
This talk was part of the Reading Cities, Sensing Cities colloquium presented by the Global Urban Humanities Initiative at UC Berkeley.
