Abstract
Academic libraries are running out of space to house printed books. However, new on-campus spaces to house books are no longer being constructed. Academic libraries will have no choice but to downsize printed collections by moving books to off campus repositories. Shared repositories represent the most economical solution for housing low-use printed books.
