Experimental Study on the Sensitivity Analysis for Dynamic Traffic Assignment

No data is associated with this publication.
Abstract

Dynamic traffic assignment (DTA) has received much attention over the last several decades. A variety of methodologies and techniques have been developed and deployed into modeling and solution algorithms for DTA. However, we have not determined how variations in input parameters inpact the results of the DTA model. This paper aims to bridge this gap by first definining the sensitivity of the solution of DTA, then proposing measurement methods for sensitivity in DTA. Three scenarios for analyzing sensitivity in DTA are also discussed, together with some numerical experiments.
