BETWEEN AUGUST 4TH AND lOTH, THE CITIES OF HIROSHIMA ANDNagasaki sponsored the First World Conference of Mayors for Peacethrough Inter-City Solidarity. CID's President, Michael Shuman, attendedthe conference as a representative of the mayor of Palo Alto.
