Abstract

Includes three presentations of 15 minutes each. A presentation describing partnership between the Institute of Governmental Studies (IGS) Library and the Internet Archive on a large-scale digitization project known as the Local Government Documents Digitization Project (LoCAL Dig Project). A presentation outlining the importance of making research data trustworthy and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) alongside a description of a collaboration between UC Santa Barbara and the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) to establish a library-centered rescue effort (not recorded). An overview of a collaborative initiative to address threats posed to Ukrainian state records through web archiving using platforms such as the Internet Archive.
