John Sundberg, D.V.M., Ph.D., discussed mouse models for nail disorders, comparing the histology and gross morphology of mouse nails with those of humans. Drs. Loomis and Gallo reported that CND support has led to NIH funding for their work.

The keynote session on nail tumors was moderated by Robert Baran, M.D. Dr. Baran discussed nail tumors and new tools for diagnosing and treating them properly.
