Department of Visual Arts

This catalog is for the exhibition History of the Present, which features the thirteen graduating MFA students in the class of 2020. The exhibition was curated by Art History, Theory and Criticism PhD students Tiffany Beres and Alexanndra Nicholls, with MCASD Associate Curator Anthony Graham. The introductory essay is authored by Beres and Nicholls. The artists are Ana Andrade, Sister Chapman, John Dombroski, Guillermo Estrada, Mateus Guzzo, Ryne Heslin, Yubin Kang, Zara Kuredjian, Asa Mendelsohn, Maya Grace Misra, Nathan Vieland, Kevin Vincent, and dana washington-queen.
