EMERGENCY MEDICINE High-Yield Triage Study Guide v1.0

(2026)

This educational guide applies a top-down, layered approach to emergency medicine learning. It begins with high-yield, testable facts for rapid retrieval, then progressively moves into clinical context, anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, diagnostic reasoning, and management. This structure distinguishes performance at the surface level from deeper understanding: mastery of examination facts does not necessarily demonstrate mastery of the mechanisms beneath them. Designed for health-professions learners preparing for course examinations, PANCE, USMLE, and OSCE-style assessments.
