The White Mountain Research Center strives to support, and contribute to, research and education in the White Mountains, the Owens Valley, the Sierra Nevada, and a wide range of other environments in California and the Great Basin. We seek to build upon our long legacy of enhancing understanding of the natural world, across a broad array of disciplines, in ways that are immediately useful to local and regional communities as well as globally.
