Disability Law Journal

The Disability Law Journal (DLJ) at the UCLA School of Law, the only academic journal focusing solely on Disability Law in the nation, is currently accepting submissions for the Journal's fifth issue, which will be published in Spring 2023.

For our fifth issue, the DLJ will be using a hybrid approach. For most of the articles in the issue, we will be honoring already-existing exceptional scholarship through republication and award. However, we are beginning the process of transitioning to a new scholarship model, so we will also be publishing at least one new article. The DLJ is using this approach to continue creating a repository for disability law scholarship and recognizing the exceptional work that has already been accomplished, while also highlighting new scholarship and emerging issues in the field. To this end, we are soliciting both nominations for articles to be republished and submissions of unpublished manuscripts. We are also currently accepting submissions for our fifth annual Student Note Competition.

For more detail, please see the pages below on each type of submission. Thank you for your interest in the DLJ, and we look forward to reading your submission(s)!
