Abstract

In this project, you’ll learn about the role of water on the earth and the impact humans have on the quality and quantity of this important resource. You’ll also explore how you can have a positive impact on water in your own community.

  • •How we use water and how our use affects quality and quantity
  • •Learn about watersheds, drainage basins, and the inter-connectedness of water and people
This sheet outlines activity ideas at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of skill; also gives suggestions on how to tie the activity to STEM, healthy living, citizenship, and leadership goals.
