Abstract

Results of a study conducted to assess some of the benefits to industry, consumers, and the community resulting from UC's investment in research and extension programs in pest management. Includes an analysis of the impact and benefits of the development and extension of integrated pest management (IPM) programs. Includes case studies in the key crops of almonds, cotton, oranges, processing tomatoes, and lettuce.
