Abstract

Torque is a two-player dueling game in which each player controls an avatar with a puck on a chain attached to them. The red player uses WASD to move while the blue player uses the arrow keys. Players spin their avatars around to swing their weapon and try to hit each other to take away their opponents lives. One player wins when their opponent runs out of lives.

Events will spawn at random points during the game. Black holes suck players towards a point. White holes teleport players between two points. Depth charges damage a player if they hit their avatar but can be knocked away by the players puck. Pickups give the players attack double damage or make the player invincible for a time, depending on whether the avatar or puck touches the pickup. Gravity fields push everything in the game in one direction.
