Abstract

The zombie apocalypse has happened and you are in charge of keeping as many survivors alive within your camp. But unfortunately, life isn’t fair, and that saying is more prominent in the apocalypse. As players take turns scavenging for supplies for their camp, there is a chance that the group that was sent out searching can come back bitten. Choose wisely during your game or you may cause all your members to die in the end!

We designed the game keeping player choice and chance in mind to imitate how life would be in this unfortunate future. Player choice is simulated by having players choose placement of resources and members, and making choices during events in the game. Chance is implemented in scavenging, picking up a faced-down card, and the player acting accordingly depending on the card.
