Abstract

Seen from France, Donald Trump’s 2024 reelection was not a pivotal event, but the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the US Supreme Court on June 24, 2022 was. A public debate then emerged about securing abortion rights in France by turning the Veil abortion law of 1975 into an article in the constitution.
