The front cover image shows an artist's representation of a lipid bilayer adsorbed on a silicon nanowire, which is part of a bioelectronic device, and a bacteriorhodopsin protein and valinomycin ionophore embedded in the bilayer. Some images are superimposed on the optical microscopy image of the device chip used for the study. Further details can be found in the article by A. Noy and co‐workers on page 831.
