A rival group of skilled sorcerers has challenged you to a treacherous trial by combat. Contenders must vie for magical dominance in a constantly shrinking arena enclosed by magical barriers. Combining characteristics of top-down shooter and real-time strategy games, Magus requires players to use their magical arsenal in order to give themselves certain advantages over their enemies. Defeating these opponents will require you to take cover while searching for lethal power-ups and other strategic opportunities throughout an assortment of arenas. Achieving victory requires one to carry out offensive maneuvers while using situational awareness to avoid the arena’s electrified boundaries. With destructible, deteriorating environments and a neverending horde of maleficent magi, no two matches will ever be the same!
